June 2013 Tours to Normandy
FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - CBS 11 News anchor Doug Dunbar traveled to Normandy in June 2013 with a group of World War II veterans from North Texas, as they visited the site of the Allied invasion on the 69th anniversary of D-Day. Their stories were detailed in a week-long series and in a November special, “Return To D-Day,” about the veterans, their war experiences and their trip back to Normandy.
