Military Historical Tours (MHT) is excited to take our paxs on an adventure in the American South. MHT travels from St. Augustine Florida all the way to the Charm of New Orleans. ITINERARY

Day 1: All parties arrive at Jacksonville Airport. Participants meet in late afternoon at our hotelbefore a Welcome Aboard Group Dinner. Hotel: Fairfield Suites, Marriott. Meals: Dinner (D)

Day 2: After breakfast at our hotel we load our bus for a look at the Spanish heritage of Florida.
0800:  Buses departs for St. Augustine Lighthouse.
0930:  Tour St. Augustine lighthouse & museum 
1130:  Group Lunch 
1300:  Tour Fort Matanzas National Monument
1400:  Tour Fort Castillo de San Marcos.  
1500:  Visit the Fountain of Youth. 
1600:  Tour Mission Traces.
1700:  Board our bus pick at Mission Traces parking lot.
1730:  Check into our hotel.
1830:  Group Dinner.
Hotel: Fairfield Marriott, St. Augustine. Meals: Breakfast (B)/Lunch (L)/D

Day 3: After breakfast we check out of our hotel and load the bus to cross Florida.
0830:  Buses depart for Tallahassee.
Discuss both the Olustee Battlefield & Natural Bridge Battlefields.
1200:  Group Lunch enroute to Tallahassee.  
1400:  Tour the Museum of Florida.
1630:  Check into our hotel.
Hotel: Best Western Plus. Meals: B/L

Day 4: After breakfast, check out and load our bus.
0730:  Bus departs for Pensacola.
1030:  We visit Eglin Air Force Base and the U.S. Air Force Armament Museum.
1145:  We head for Naval Air Station Pensacola, FL and its exceptional Naval Aviation Museum. Lunch on own at the museum.
1500:  We depart NAS Pensacola for our hotel. Bus to 
1630:  Check in to hotel.
1800:  Group Dinner.
Hotel: Fairfield Inn Marriott, Pensacola. Meals; B/D

Day 5: After breakfast at the hotel we check out and load the bus.
0800:  Bus departs for Mobile.
0900:  We tour the U.S.S. Alabama (BB-60) in Mobile Bay site of the epic U.S. naval attack on the Confederate Forts protecting the bay.
1100:  We visit the excellent Museum of Mobile.   
1215:  We depart for New Orleans with lunch enroute.
1500:  Check into our hotel with some free time in this exciting city.
1830:  Group dinner.
Hotel: Springhill Suites, New Orleans. Meals: B/L/D

Day 6: Breakfast at the hotel. 
0830:  Bus departs for Jackson Barracks. 
0900:  Tour the museum.
1015:  Bus heads to the renown National World War II Museum.
1045:  Tour the WWII Museum. Group lunch at the Museum.
1400:  The New Orleans Cemetery Tour
1530:  Return to hotel with the evening free to enjoy the nightlife in The Big Easy and Bourbon Street.

Day 7: After Breakfast at the hotel we head to the Mighty Mississippi. 0900:  Our bus arrives at Old Man River.  
1000:  We take a Crescent City Paddle Wheel on a trip to Chalmette Battlefield. Here in 1815 Major General Andrew Jackson defeated the British Redcoats at the Rodriquez Canal near the Chalmette Plantation.
1230:  Lunch
1330:  Walking Tour of Jackson Square.  Tour Cabildo Museum.
1530:  Walk to French Market for a shopping opportunity.
1700:  Bus picks up group up at Jackson Square and returns to the hotel.
1830:  Farewll Dinner.  
Hotel: Springhill Suites. Meals: B/L/D

Day 8: After breakfast we say farewell to New Orleans for our flight home. Meals: B
